The site

Everything here is published for information: articles, the book, press material and background about Sean Hodel and his work. It is not advice for your specific business, and nothing on this site creates a client relationship. Results described for other businesses are theirs, not a promise about yours.

What you can do with the content

The writing, photos, video and design on this site belong to Sean Hodel unless credited otherwise. You may read it, link to it, and quote a short passage with credit and a link back. You may not republish whole articles, resell the content, or present it as your own. Press and podcast hosts can use the bios and headshot on the press page for coverage about Sean.

Forms and email

The newsletter and inquiry forms are for genuine contact. No spam, scraping, automated submissions, or anything unlawful. Sean can stop responding or remove you from the list at any time. What is stored and for how long is in the privacy policy.

The private publishing tool

Sean operates a private dashboard used only by him to publish and schedule his own content to his own social media accounts, and to read the performance of his own posts. It has no public users and no sign up. It never accesses, collects or displays other people's accounts or content, and no data from it is sold or shared with third parties. Access is limited to Sean's own email addresses.

Links out

This site links to other places, including Local Klicks, Amazon and news outlets. Those sites have their own terms and Sean does not control what they publish.

No warranty, and the limit of liability

The site is provided as is. Sean does not promise it will always be available, error free, or current, and he is not liable for losses that come from using it or from acting on something you read here. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

Changes

These terms can change. The date at the top says when they last did. Material changes will be noted on this page rather than applied quietly.
