Sean Hodel is the owner and Director of Ads at Local Klicks, a digital marketing agency on the walking mall in Winchester, Virginia, and co-author of the book Local Klicks: Turn Clicks Into Clients and Dominate Your Local Market. He started his first business at 13, won 1st in Virginia in DECA's Business Growth Plan event, and after graduating from James Wood High School in 2026 turned down UVA and three other schools to build Local Klicks full time.

Sean Hodel is the owner and Director of Ads at Local Klicks, the Winchester, Virginia digital marketing agency headquartered at 9 N Loudoun St on the Old Town walking mall. He runs paid acquisition for local businesses across Meta, Google and Local Services Ads under a simple tagline: Scaling Systems for Local Businesses.
Local Klicks, founded in 2022, has generated more than $80 million in client revenue for over 220 clients across 30+ states, managed more than $1 million in ad spend, and earned a 5.0 Google rating across 100+ reviews. Recent client wins include more than 2,000 leads in under 30 days for one client and 428 leads in 31 days for a Fairfax dentist. In September 2026 Sean hosted the agency's first live event, a hiring workshop at the Bright Box in Winchester.
In April 2026, Sean co-authored Local Klicks: Turn Clicks Into Clients and Dominate Your Local Market with Shawn Rider and Zackary Michael. The book is built around the SWOP Framework: SEO, Website, Organic social and Paid advertising.
Born in Winchester on February 11, 2008 and the oldest of four brothers, Sean started his first business at 13 and has photographed more than 100 Christian artists, including Phil Wickham and Lauren Daigle. He worked as cinematographer and editor on "Step", a short film by Winchester filmmaker Kerri Lane Mariano that the Winchester Star covered in November 2024. At James Wood High School he won 1st in Virginia in DECA's Business Growth Plan event and qualified for DECA ICDC, and he wrestled four years on varsity, three as captain: a 3x State Qualifier, State Placer and Regional Champion who finished his senior season 32-5 with 21 pins at 165 lb and was named to the Winchester Star 2026 All-Area team. He graduated in 2026 and turned down UVA and three other schools to build Local Klicks full time.
